2025
As for the joint laboratories, the following were established in 2025:
  • JRM, a joint laboratory between Nuuovo Pignone Technologies srl, and the DIISM, focusing on topics related to Reliability and Instrumentation design.
Before 2025
  • SAIL4Life, a joint laboratory between SAIHUB, the MPS Foundation, and the DIISM, focusing on topics related to Artificial Intelligence.
  • WEARable Haptic Laboratory (WEARLab), a joint laboratory between DIISM and the company WEART, dedicated to the development of "Wearable Haptic Interfaces for the Digitalization of the Sense of Touch."
  • DIG AI LAB: a joint laboratory between DIISM and Nuovo Pignone Tecnologie SRL, focused on the application of artificial intelligence methodologies and tools in various industrial fields.
  • MTSLab: a joint laboratory between Wave-up SRL and DIISM, focused on developing electromagnetic models for the analysis and design of innovative antennas.
  • AEELab: a joint laboratory between Huawei Technologies Düsseldorf GmbH and DIISM, aimed at applying modern electromagnetic theories and methodologies to antennas and radiating systems.
